'CHIHULY: Venice 2026' makes grand return to Italy, handcrafted along Lake Union
Many people walking along the Lake Union waterfront toward Ivar’s Salmon House might be surprised that the nondescript building next door houses a hot shop of one of the world’s most famous glass artists. That hot shop has been the place where Dale Chihuly and his team have been working for months getting ready for his return to Venice, 30 years after his groundbreaking takeover of the city's canals and piazzas with his original exhibit, Chihuly Over Venice.
